im a hipster

I have become a hipster obviously. It is official and so on. And I’ve come to realize I don’t mind as long as they photoshop me properly. According to the latest issue of NATT&DAG I am also a “trend slave” due to my quasi-poetic typewriter-styled tattoo and my constant talk about how Oslo has become “too small for me”. Trying to change the last part though, both by applying to schools in the US, but also by exploring the city I have told myself that I have grown tired of. And I think it might be working. Possibly. So I am going to be as much of a hipster as I can possibly be by attending gallery openings, concerts, movie screenings and whatnot in order to take in whatever Oslo has to offer.

So.. do you have any tips to on what to do and where to go in this glorious town?

Så heldig du er som skal til USA. Blir sikkert forfriskende med en positiv holdning blant folk enn her :) Pessimismen er litt til å spy av til tider. Du er fin!

In 2004 I started to write down what books I read in order to keep track of them all. Since 2006 I have gathered them here instead of in my notebook and they serve as a reminder of how I should read more and compete to beat my old “record”. You can find the complete list here.
