Due to popular request, I’m (once again) showing you some snapshots of my apartment (excluding the bathroom & the guest room). So welcome to my crib. When you enter into my humble nest you meet these charming posters exclaiming “love can be bought” and “you can give away happiness”, left-overs from the Valentine campaign @ ARK.
I got my full-size mirror a month ago (I lived here an entire year without a full-size mirror. It was .. unbearable), and the poster of one of Per Fronth’s more famous paintings. I LOVE his paintings. Beauty. And of course, he’s from my hometown of Kristiansand, score.
The living room / kitchen. My TV from the 70s (or 90s I dunno, it’s old anyways), another Per Fronth (the blue-ish painting), my windowsills pretending to be bookshelves. This is where I spend most of my free time.
My red kitchen. This is where I’m supposed to create miracles with cheap food on a student’s budget. I really don’t. The few miracles I create come from this site: Mat Til Maren. My mum and sisters made a website with recipes when I moved to Oslo, because otherwise I was very likely to either starve to death or live on fast food 24/7.
In the spirit of MTV Cribs I’m going to let you take a peek into my refrigerator. I’m addicted to Pepsi Max, eat brown cheese as dessert and forget my vitamins 6 out of 7 days. Cottage cheese, cinnamon and apples is also an addiction. Not to mention a bottle of ice-cold water on the tram on my way to school every morning. Recommended.
My guestbook, everyone (or at least nearly everyone) who’s ever been to a sleepover/spent the night (NO, not like that, you dirty-minded people) in the apartment signs this.
“This is where the magic happens” yeah, right.
The more party-esque shoes in my collection, my CDs and DVDs, a vintage poster from Cervinia, Italy, my mood-board, my precious iPhone/iPod charger.
My Riga Balsam (sort of cough medicine from Latvia), valentine chocolate, book of dreams, ashtray from Palestine (present from the Norwegian Ambassador in Palestine), bows from various vintage shops, a Rubik’s cube I never seem to be able to solve and loads of other small items that carry some sentimental value.
To the person who asked me if I ever changed the covers on my bed: a) of course I do, washing it doesn’t take weeks you know;), but b) look what my mum brought with her when she visited me this weekend: new covers. :D Cool ones as well, and they so match my red kitchen..!
Haha. I need to get back to my reading again now.

Utrolig fint du hadde det! Stakk innom den mat til maren siden og jeg ble helt sykt fristet av mye innpå der:) kanskje jeg stikker inn og finner en oppskrift om jeg skal lage mat en dag.

Loving your homey crib! I am jealous ;) You have a stunning kitchen – loving the colour scheme. With a kitchen like that, I’d be cooking and baking 24/7. I also love the idea of making your visits sign in haha.
