The influenza is still going strong, which means that I will spend the evening on the sofa with a cup of tea. School really does suck when you’re constantly sweating/freezing, coughing and feeling worn-out. But I can’t miss out on these lectures, and as long as I keep a distance from other people and use anti-bac 24/7 I’m not contagious. Or maybe it is the swine flue..? Who knows. Oink oink.
Here’s the YSL commercial I was talking about yesterday. The new campaign for Yves Saint Laurent’s fraigrance Parisienne, featuring Kate Moss. It’s hot.
Papparazzi-photos from the filming of the new YSL Parisienne commercial. I am dying to see the result. These behind-the-scenes pictures make me want to take a more active part of the whole fashion industry and not just watch it from the outside. I’m not sure where my place would be, but it’s definitely an environment that fascinates me.
♥
that party last night was awfully crazy, i wish we taped it
Yesterday = good friends + 90′s music + beer pong (I won) + old drinking games.
I had so much fun I couldn’t stop smiling. Except when there was a camera nearby that is.
I’m a bad blogger. And I will continue to be until Monday. Ingeborg is visiting me this weekend, and there’s parties and stuff to do. I’ve also got the swine flue, or at least I do when people ask. If a fever and runny nose qualify as the swine flue, I do have it. Which I don’t. Really-
Hope you’re enjoying the weekend. I know I am, to some extent.
The new ad for Calvin Klein’s fragrance Euphoria. The first one in the series is one of my favourite ads, just because of it’s beauty, and this one is simply gorgeous as well. I will never tire of Natalia.
Having 500kr left to live on until September 15th, I probably shouldn’t have done this, but when I found these glasses I just had to buy them. 299 kr was spent on another sin, this Alexander Wang look-a-like from Gina Tricot. I had a rule that I would not buy copies, but I needed a slouchy bag for school, and this was too perfect. Shit happens..
Just got home from the opening of the new Designtorget store. Designtorget is a store were they sell design from different designers, both well-known and newcomers. They have a committee which meets every week to choose the products to be sold exclusively in the shops. I tend to get instant design-cravings every time I walk in to one of their stores, and being at the opening today could have been hard towards my economy hadn’t it been for the fact that I have no economy to speak of at the moment. I still ended up buying a lovely little necklace made by Caroline Byh (at a 20% discount. Hurray!).
“Edith Minturn Sedgwick, beautiful artist and actress, and all-around loon. Remembered for setting the world on fire and escaping the clutches of her terrifying family. Made friends with everybody and anybody by creating chaos and uproar wherever she went. Divorced as many times as she married, she leaves only good wishes behind.”
Monki is opening two stores in Norway come November; one in Bogstadveien in Oslo and one at Galleriet in Bergen.
For those of you who haven’t heard of Monki before (which you should have btw), it’s another brand owned by the H&M empire, who sell trendy clothes for girls in the same price class as say.. Gina Tricot and BikBok. Plans to open Weekdays and COS (also a part of H&M) are under progress, but no dates are set there yet.
Let’s all celebrate with a glass of champagne and some chocolate, because this is good news to us poor students who really can’t afford neither champagne nor chocolat. Monki will be good to our wallets.
